Classically Rustic

Morning lovelies!

How are you all doing? Having a splendid week I hope! So anyways today is the FIRST Friday Briday on my new blog! Yay! I am currently loving all of the rustic inspired weddings even though I am not an outdoorsy person whatsoever! A rustic wedding is simple, elegant and so beautiful that I just had to share it with you all.

To start off with this theme I made another inspiration board to get my creative juices flowing!

Don’t you just love the colors? The color combo of the peaches and blues are just divine! All the colors can be found in nature which just exemplifies how easy it can be to transform nature into your theme. There are obviously millions of ways to utilize this theme but to make things easier for you I have come up with my top 5 favorite ideas for a Classically Rustic wedding and of course a few DIY ideas!

After the ceremony your guests will be amazed at how gorgeous your reception looks and you’ll be taking all the credit for this simple idea. This is so simple and easy to execute! Notice that this couple used more greenery than flowers which saves ALOT of money! Also along with having the greenery try adding burlap as the table runners to add texture to table setting. It will make the table more “rustic” and inviting with a simple touch.

Now onto the centerpieces….

These centerpiece ideas are oh so simple but also fit the theme perfectly! The clear vases are your best bet and can be found at Ikea, Target or even Dollar Tree! If you’re on a budget try looking at Dollar Tree for vases because they do offer a deep discount and in fact the quality is better than expected for such great prices. If you are using flowers also supplement them with greenery to cut down the cost of your floral budget. Keep in mind that this rustic theme is the best for utilizing all that nature has to offer!

This is by far my favorite idea for an escort board! You can find these kind of windows at a flea market, estate sales, antique shows or a warehouse and then buy a silver permanent marker to label each table and the guests’ names underneath their table number. So easy and quick to do! You could also use white board markers in your wedding colors and coordinate everything.

How adorable are these little guys?! All you need is a pack of doilies and some craft glue or tape and then once they have had a few hours to dry you can insert any treat you want and let your guests enjoy!

Another DIY with mason jars! I can’t help my obsession with Mason jars but they are so versatile and well how can you not love this?! You can use any cake mix you want but personally it makes all the difference if you make icing from scratch and then layer them like a trifle. You can purchase these labels at Etsy or make them yourself and attach bakers twine which can be found at Michael’s by the Martha Stewart crafts.

Hope you enjoyed this Friday Briday! I’d love to read all your comments and ideas!

Have a sweet day!
